The spirit of freedom
I can
feel the wind on my face,
As I set
a lively pace;
Along
meadows and lanes I race,
With
admirable subtlety and grace;
I run
from suffering and sorrow,
Which
are rooted deep in the in the marrow;
I glance
at the deer that graze,
A sight
that sets the fire of freedom ablaze!
With all
I have, forward I move -
My
perseverance, courage and mettle to prove;
An
unleashed force which knows no bounds,
That
takes me far from these hellish hounds;
I race
for the world to see
That I
am now irrevocably free!
